Holy Rosary Healthcare has selected Beverly Thomas, RN, MSN, as the interim chief nursing officer. Thomas is a familiar face and has been a welcome addition at Holy Rosary since February 2009 when she began her role as a key onsite resource and integral leader in the quality improvement and accreditation readiness progress. She has an impressive professional background and will serve as the onsite Interim CNO as the organization continues moving several important initiatives forward.
Thomas has been with the Sisters of Charity of Leavenworth Health System since 2007 as the System Director of Accreditation and Regulatory Readiness. Considered an expert on Joint Commission preparedness, she works closely on helping care sites system-wide embrace a culture of patient safety and quality care. She has extensive nursing executive experience in management of patient care services, quality and risk management, and healthcare administration. Beverly has a BSN degree from the Medical University of South Carolina and an MSN from the University of South Carolina.
