Patient Information Guide

When you enter Holy Rosary Healthcare, you become the most important person in this facility. We are here to care for your physical, emotional and spiritual needs. We pledge you our fullest efforts.

The basis of our care is based on the philosophy of the Sisters of Charity of Leavenworth that all people are created in the image of God and have God-given rights from the moment of conception throughout life. At Holy Rosary Healthcare, our concept of total patient care embraces all facets of life and well-being. We are proud to continue our tradition of Christian care.

What to Pack

You are welcome to bring personal grooming appliances, however, they will need to be inspected by engineering to assure they are safe. Also you may bring your own toiletries with you.

We recommend you leave your valuables at home. If you do bring them, they will be stored in a safe for safekeeping.

Your medical condition may not allow you to take certain medications, even those you usually take every day. Please bring a list of your medications, their dosage and how often you take them. Your physician will decide what medications you will need during your stay at Holy Rosary.

Please leave all pocketknives and dangerous weapons at home.

Financial Assistance Policy

As you face hospitalization, tests or procedures, Holy Rosary Healthcare wants you to be aware of our Financial Assistance Policy in case you have concerns about paying for your medical care. Based on your eligibility and income level, Holy Rosary Healthcare will discount some or the entire amount of your bill and help you make payment arrangements.

Eligibility:

  • Based on income level.
  • Also extends to individuals who face challenges paying outstanding balances that are the patient’s responsibility.
  • Applies to all services except elective procedures (that is, cosmetic, non-acute services).

Please note: If you don’t have health insurance, emergency care will never be delayed or withheld on the basis of your ability to pay.

If you are dealing with a health problem that requires hospitalization, Holy Rosary Healthcare will work with you to make payment arrangements. Patients may be asked to make a small payment, of $10 minimum. This payment will be applied to your hospital bill.

Steps to follow:

  • Contact our Patient Business Services to discuss qualifications, 406.233.2455.
  • Complete the Eligibility Screening Application* with a Financial Counselor at Holy Rosary Healthcare. Please note: If you are eligible for Medicaid, Medicare or other public assistance, we will help you complete an application for the appropriate program.
  • If you are not insured and are not eligible for one of these insurance programs, our Financial Counselor will discuss our Financial Assistance Policy* with you. This financial policy applies only to treatment and services provided by Holy Rosary Healthcare. You will need to make separate financial arrangements with physicians or other providers.
  • If you qualify for financial assistance according to our policy and seek repeat services at Holy Rosary Healthcare, you may be required to resubmit an application and go through another financial screening.
  • If you don’t qualify for financial assistance, but have concerns about paying your hospital bills, Holy Rosary Healthcare will work with you to make arrangements (by check, credit card, bank loans or limited interest-free installment payment plans).

As part of our Financial Assistance Policy, Holy Rosary Healthcare is committed to making patients aware of anticipated charges for the care they will receive at our facility.
